Wing Foil
Wing Foiling is when the Surfer stands on a Foil Board and holds an inflatable sail (aka the 'Wing'). The Wing catches the wind, making the board move. A combination of speed and Surf technique causes the board to raise out of the water, balancing on its attached Foil system. While riding on Foil, the Surfer continues to use the handheld Wing to control speed, steer upwind, downwind and conduct gybe and tack turns; the Surfer can also dig into the board's rails using their body weight to carve along the surface of the water.

Wing Foiling provides an above-water hoverboarding surf experience, as the board floats the rider for an incredible free-flying feeling!
Everyone Starts from Somewhere -- and Learning to Wing Surf is the First Step to Wing Foil!
Our beginning Wing Foil Lessons focus on teaching the Surfer how to control the handheld Wing while standing on a stable large board off the waters of the Central Gulf Coast of Florida. The board stays connected to the water, and has a large center dagger fin to help keep the Surfer riding upwind. This allows the Surfer to stand up and go on the first try, while getting used to handling the Wing and making basic turns. The lesson is catered to the student's learning curve, and focuses on teaching techniques that will help in the transition to riding a Foil board.

Please remember! It takes time and effort to become proficient in any extreme sport. Wing Foiling is considered an extreme sport -- not just anyone does it! Don't be surprised if on your first lesson you are not an expert, it's a lot to take in, so don't get discouraged.
